Units Scale
  • 5 large Strawberries, leaves removed and sliced in half or into heart-shapes
  • 6 oz Raspberries
  • 1/2 cup Red grapes (about a handful)
  • 1/2 Naval Orange, sliced into small wedges
  • 1 Clementine, peeled
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 Mango, sliced
  • 1 Bunch green grapes, plus a small handful
  • 1/2 cup honeydew melon, sliced into small chunks
  • 6 oz Blackberries
  • 1/2 cup Blueberries
  • A large handful of Goldfish cheese crackers

Special equipment

  • Round wooden board, 18 inches in diameter
  • Small plastic pot
  • Serving utensils

Step one: lay the fruits in an arch on a round board following the order below.

  • Red: Starting with the red fruits, add the strawberries first since they are the heavier ingredient. Fill in gaps with the grapes and top with the raspberries. Try to keep the raspberries on top of the fruit since they are softer and more delicate.
  • Orange: Continue with the orange fruits. Lay the naval orange slices first (they’re the biggest), followed by the cantaloupe and top with the clementines.
  • Yellow: spread the mango slices in an arch fist and then fill in the with pineapple chunks.
  • Green: Start with placing the grapes on the vine first. Fill in the spaces with a small handful of green grapes and any grapes that have fallen off the vine. Place the melon chunks on top filling any gaps.
  • Blue: set the blueberries aside for now.
  • Indigo and Violet: scatter the blackberries in an arch. Grab those blueberries. Place them on top of the blackberries and aim any spaces.

Step two: add the pot o’ goldfish. Fill your pot with goldfish first. Place it on the board and lay it on its side at the end of the rainbow. Sprinkle additional goldfish (a large handful) around and behind the pot to make it look like the pot o’goldfish is spilling out!

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
